Rollstar mette in moto l’Eurovision Song Contest 2022

L’esibizione con cui Laura Pausini ha aperto la serata finale dell’Eurovision Song Contest 2022, è stato uno dei momenti più spettacolari ed emozionanti dell’intero evento. Una performance esaltata da un allestimento illuminotecnico che ha unito brillantemente innovazione e creatività.

Al centro del setup, la vera novità tecnologica di questa edizione: Rollstar, la macchina scenica che ha aggiunto una nuova dimensione ai movimenti dei proiettori installati su di essa, grazie allo spettacolare effetto di rotazione dell’intero sistema sul proprio asse.

Un’innovazione capace di offrire a LD e DoP una gamma di opportunità del tutto inedite per esprimere la propria creatività. L’Eurovision Song Contest 2022 è stato un esempio di queste infinite possibilità: 16 Rollstar – uniti in 4 cluster sospesi sul palco e movimentati da motori e binari – si sono librati nello spazio scenico come enormi ruote di luci, spostandosi, inclinandosi, planando sullo stage. L’interazione tra l’automazione dei cluster, la rotazione dei Rollstar, il movimento delle teste mobili e degli effetti installati su di essi, hanno generato un impatto visivo senza precedenti.

Un setup illuminotecnico che è già un riferimento per le prossime edizioni dell’Eurovision Song Contest.

Rollstar at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022: simply outstanding.

The performance with which Laura Pausini opened the the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 final, was one of the most spectacular and exciting moments of the entire event. A performance enhanced by a lighting installation that brilliantly combined innovation and creativity.

At the center of the setup, stood the real technological innovation of this edition: Rollstar, the stage machine that added a new dimension to the movements of the projectors installed on it, thanks to the spectacular rotation effect of the entire system on its axis.

An innovation offering LD and DoP a completely new range of opportunities to express their creativity. The Eurovision Song Contest 2022 was an example of these countless possibilities: 4 clusters of 4 Rollstar units each, suspended on the stage and moved by hoists and rails – hovered in mid air like huge wheels of lights, moving, tilting, gliding on the stage. The interaction between the automation of the clusters, the rotation of the Rollstars, the movement of the moving heads and the effects installed on them, generated an unprecedented visual impact.

A lighting setup that is already a reference for the next editions of the Eurovision Song Contest.
